Our Mission
The mission of Nashville Workcamp is an intense week for Christian teens and adults to be “the hands and feet of Jesus” by serving people in the Nashville area who are elderly, handicapped and/or on fixed incomes. We paint the outside of homes, do minor repair work and yard beautification.
We believe that God calls us to go out into our communities and embody the quote from St. Francis of Assisi, "Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words." We pray that the work that is done during that week of Nashville Workcamp will let those in the communities know that God is doing great things in our lives and we want to share the outpouring of those blessings to others.
We also want to provide a place where youth can experience meaningful worship during the day through our work but also during our evening times when we gather to celebrate what HE has done through us. We provide all of the tools that the students will need to complete their home improvement job, as well as a place for them to stay if you are from out-of-town, a great dinner meal each night and programmed evening activities.
